Introduction
Warmth refers to how someone feels in your present, ie it is not how they feel about you, but how they feel about themselves

Sometimes warmth is regarded as an umbrella term that encompasses
- sociability (describes attributes such as cooperation, kindness, etc)
- morality (internal ethical sense)
The more questions on to encourage warmth

Warmth behaviours
i) authenticity (integrity, honesty, vulnerability, sharing of yourself emotionally as well is your thoughts, etc)
ii) attention (listening, asking questions, generally curious, focusing on the other person, etc)
iii) affirmation (smile, laugh, complement, etc)
iv) amusement (making people laugh and smile, etc)
v) alike (find common ground, mirroring, 'we like people like us', etc)
vi) acts of service (giving more than taking; giving of your time, energy, emotions, resources, etc)
NB Be careful about faking warmth as people will see through it.
